		<description>Ottawa remains very chilly, though there seems to be some hope of sustained melting in the next month or so.

A recent visit by a friend from Vancouver was really excellent, and I am delighted that she will be spending the summer in this most bureaucratic of cities.

In any event, I hope we catch one another online soon.</description>
